Tap the microphone on your list and speak. delelisten adds the items, ticks them off or sends a message to everyone on the list.

Repeated items add up

Add 5 bananas and then 3 more, and the list shows one line: Bananas (8). It works the same when you type.

Works in all 13 languages, in Chrome, Edge and Safari on phones and computers. Your browser turns speech into text, and nothing is recorded.

This notice explains what personal data delelisten.com handles when you use it, why, and what your rights are. We keep it to the minimum that shared shopping lists need.

Who is responsible

delelisten.com is responsible for your personal data (the "controller"). You can reach us at privacy@delelisten.com.

What we store

Why, and on what legal basis

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or tracking, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Who can see your data

How long we keep it

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you gave. You can do most of this yourself in the app; for anything else, contact us at privacy@delelisten.com.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live or work.

The same rights apply under the UK GDPR, the Swiss Data Protection Act and similar laws elsewhere, such as the CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPEDA (Canada) and LGPD (Brazil). We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), PINs are hashed, cookies are signed and can't be read by other sites, and repeated wrong PINs lock a list for a while. Keep your links and PINs private: anyone with both can open the list.

Children

delelisten.com is not aimed at children under 16. A parent or guardian should set up lists for younger children.

Changes

If we change this notice, the date at the top changes. Important changes are announced on the site.

The label checker uses product data from Open Food Facts, a free and open food database made by volunteers, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). When you look up a barcode, only the barcode number is sent.

delelisten.com only uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the site to work, or that remember a choice you made. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. The law (the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, the UK PECR and similar rules elsewhere) therefore does not require your consent, but you should know what is stored.

All cookies are set by delelisten.com itself and are only sent over encrypted connections. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings; you will then need to enter your PINs again.

If you sign in with Google, X or Amazon, those services set their own cookies on their own sites, under their own policies.
